Rated: G •Summary: When the Car Brothers came out in Japan in 2000, Mach Alert pretty much blew every previous Transformer that had a car mode off the road. RiD Prowl carried this exceptional mould into the Anglophone markets.

Rated: G • Summary: Both modes are good and Prowl is one of the more prominent G1 characters. If you like Diaclone toys, Prowl is worthwhile. Considering how prominent he is, I'd recommend him to G1 fans, even if you already have Bluestreak and Smokescreen.

Rated: G • Summary: A good mould with some minor flaws, and the vehicle mode looks pretty good. All this good work is undone by a robot mode that's nowhere near as good as it should have been.
Prowl (Spychanger) by Dirge
Rated: G •Summary: A good Spychanger mould, with good colours but bad paint details. It's more laziness in designing the paint job than a bad paint job, though. There's some good features, like the gun tucking away nicely, and a great mould for the car mode.

Rated: G •Summary: As you'd expect of a Transmetal II, Prowl has an excellent sculpt, and like many BW toys has a poseable robot mode. Bad use of transparent plastic gets in the way of making Prowl a good toy, however.
