Blurr by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Conceptually the idea is quite solid but the car mode came out a little bland and has some engineering problems. The robot mode works very well and displays well, making Blurr worthwhile.

Blurr and Incinerator by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Blurr's a G1 toy trapped in an Armada body - he looks great but has somewhat limited articulation. The car mode is very strong and Incinerator fits Blurr like a glove.

Bolt by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A tech spec for Bolt, AKA G2 Skydive.

Bombshell by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A nice Diaclone based Transformer with a lot happening for it's size, Bombshell is very much a toy for the G1 fans.

Bonecrusher by Dirge

Rated: G • starstarstarstar
Summary: One of the better Constructicons, by virtue of two strong modes, a good colour scheme, and no real flaws.

Bonecrusher by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Despite being based on a single gimmick, Bonecrusher manages to be a good toy. The beast mode is unusual and well done, the robot mode also works well.

Bonecrusher by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A solid payloader mode and a very good robot mode, Bonecrusher has good colours and a nifty transformation.

Boss by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: While he's best known for his Batmobile looks, Boss is a good toy in his own right.

Bound Rogue by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Bound Rogue's colours are probably his most distinct feature. And they work for him in a bizarre way, thanks to good contrast and some good choices. I'm actually glad he's not going for realism, since the mould just _isn't_ a Tasmanian Devil.

Brawl by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A decent Scramble City component, Brawl's very beefy looking, which fits in with his character. One of the better combiner limbs, actually, although his hands are a tad lacking. He's always been a favourite of mine, and of course you need him if you plan

Brawl (G2) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A decent Scramble City component, Brawl's very beefy looking, which fits in with his character. The biggest failing of this version is the garish colour scheme, but it's better than most G2 Combaticons.

Brawl (Kickback) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Two fun modes, weaponry galore and colours that really work and make this toy a great homage. Even if you don't care for Bruticus, I'd recommend this toy.

Brawn by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: While the vehicle mode is actually really good in comparison to some of the other Minicars, Brawn's robot mode is both disappointing and significantly different from that of the cartoon Brawn. Recommended to G1 fans mainly for the character.

Break by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A very good beast mode, which is hard to fault, and a satisfying robot mode, although not without it's flaws. Break has a complex transformation, too.

Breakdown by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A good toy with a very nice vehicle mode for what it is, Breakdown's robot mode is also quite solid. On his own he's solid but unspectacular.

Bristleback by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A decent shell, an interesting monster mode and a reasonable robot mode should have made Bristleback one of the better toys in this set, but it all falls apart due to bad plastic.

Bruticus by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: He looks nice, but he's a tad unstable around the shoulders & chestplate. More stable that Devastator, but still rather rickety. The swapping of limbs work well, which is a plus compared so some other Scramble City sets. And all his components are good to

Bruticus by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: While there are some minor flaws, Bruticus is a great Gestalt comprised of five very good components. The G1 tribute is readily apparent and all four components actually work as arms or legs.

Bruticus (G2) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A bad colour scheme ruins what is otherwise a good set. Ignoring the colours, this is a good set, but I recommend the original in place of it.

Build Boy by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: This guy rocks. I don't really know any better way to say it. Both modes are strong, plus it's good value for the price point - he's really more of a small deluxe than a basic in size and easily a deluxe in complexity. Colours work well, and he's part of

Build Cyclone (Hightower) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A great toy with two detailed modes, Build Cyclone has detail, play value and poseability all wrapped in a good colour scheme.

Build Hurricane (Grimlock) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: The shovel mode is pretty good and the colours are fairly good, but the robot mode drags this toy down.

Build King (Landfill) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: While the proportions and poseability might be limited, the versatility gives Build King a lot of play value, and his poseabilty still beats that of the G1 gestalts. All four components are good toys although for some reason Hasbro bumped the basic Build

Build Typhoon (Heavy Load) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: The robot mode is great, the vehicle mode good and of course, you need Build Typhoon to form Build King (or Heavy Load for Landfill).

Bulkhead by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A really good mega, and he's quite big for a mega. Of course, Bulkhead was sold as an ultra, thanks to the Afterburner Unit. It _really_ doesn't work in chopper mode, but does add to his robot mode. The gimmicks are a mixed bag - the transformation sounds
