Chromedome by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Chromedome's a nice toy, both he and Stylor have good colour schemes, and Chromedome looks good in both modes. There's only limited play value here but if you're a G1 fan you should like Chromedome.

Chromedome Jr by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Not as cool as the original, but this is a pretty good copy and the die cast metal is a great touch.

Cindersaur by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Cindersaur is in my opinion the worst of the Firecons - a very dubious honour, since it makes him the worst G1 toy.

Clampdown by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A great toy. Attention to detail, realistic car mode, good colour scheme and quality of manufacturing (metal, clear windows) all work in Clampdown's favour. Both modes work very well. Perhaps his biggest drawback is that he's very similar to Red Alert - a

Claw Jaw by Dirge

Rated: G • starstarhalf-star
Summary: Good play value, great aesthetics in both modes, good colours and a gimmick that works all make this a good toy.

Claw Jaw (Transmetal) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A good repaint of a fun toy, Claw Jaw has good poseability and funky colours, but whether or not it's worth tracking down this repaint is really a personal choice.

Cliffbee by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A tech spec for Cliffbee (the red Microman toy of the Bumblejumper mould)

Cliffjumper by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: If you like the Minicars as I do, then I'd suggest you'll like Cliffjumper. A cute car mode, a well done robot mode and good colour scheme (ok, schemes) all make him worthwhile to a G1 collector.

Cloak & Dagger by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A tech spec for Cloack & Dagger, AKA Fox Kids! Transmetal Tarantulas.

Clocker by Dirge

Rated: G • half-star
Summary: I was pleasantly surprised by Clocker - both modes have a lot of play value, and the engine block gun does a great job of adapting to both modes, rare for a weapon that deploys in both modes.

Cloudburst by Dirge

Rated: G • starstarstarstarhalf-star
Summary: Probably my favourite of the 1988 Autobot Pretenders, I'm impressed with Cloudburst's space cruiser mode. The robot mode is solid, if unspectacular, and the same can be said for the Pretender shell. The colour scheme works quite well aside from some minor

Cloudraker by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A good colour scheme, a very cool plane mode and a decent robot mode, but it probably goes without saying that Cloudraker is more fun if you have his twin brother.

Cobra by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A tech spec for Cobra, AKA G2 Swindle

Command Ravage by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Nice colours and details make a great beast mode, but a simple transformation takes its toll on a disappointing robot mode.

Computron by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: While some of his components have some major flaws, Computron comes out pretty much unscathed. I'm not a bit fan of Strafe & Nosecone as legs, but it's up to you what you do for each limb, anyway, so I can't be too critical of that. He's got a very unifie

Constructicon Maximus by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Not quite as cool as Superlink Bruticus but still a pretty good gestalt in his own right. Worthwhile as a set despite some weak components.

Constructor Squad by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: There's definite mix and match potential here and some good individual Micromasters.

Convo-Bat (CD-ROM Exclusive) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Released only in Japan, this is an interesting variant on a flawed toy. The colours work in their own way, and they're markedly different to those of the standard version.

Convoy (Optimus Prime) Jr by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: It's no substitute for the original, but for a toy that's half the size this is a pretty good reproduction.

Corahda by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A pretty difficult thing to do, but Takara have made a decent snake Transformer. There are compromises in both modes, but nothing that wrecks the toy, and Corahda has a lot of play value for a deluxe.

Corerunner by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A tech spec for Corerunner (AKA Drill Powerdasher), using a name dreamed up by ExcelonZero

Cosmos by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: The colours work, the robot mode looks cool but has some joint problems. Cosmos is a toy I'd recommend.

Crosscut by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A good colour scheme in both modes, nice robot and car modes. Crosscut's shoulders give him good poseability for a Diaclone toy, and he has a lot of accessories.

Crosshairs by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Pretty much everything works here, from the Targetmaster partner to both modes. The colours are sensible and there's some nice detailing.

Crosswise by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Probably the best toy released in this entire range - in my books he's overtaken Highbeam at the top of the pile.. due totally to the colour scheme (well, they _are_ identical moulds). Takara's done a terrific job of this toy - both the paint job and the
