Story Notes: This story is a sequel, of sorts, for my short story Untouchable, and makes reference to events that happened in the first chapter of The Beckoning Silence. It stands on its own, however, and the stories don't have to be read in any particular order. The term ku'at is my own coinage, and is a play on the ancient Egyptian concept of Ma'at, which encompasses truth, balance, order, law, morality and justice. Ku'at means more or less the same thing. A special thanks to Novaspark for helping me brainstorm a suitably poetic title.
Please note that this story touches on some fairly morbid themes, such as the handling of remains, and while it isn't overtly slashy, it does make reference to same-sex relationships. Proceed at your own discretion.

A breem is 8.12 minutes here, as per the definitions given by Akzeal in A Brief Essay on Cybertronian Time-keeping and Conversions, which has become my go-to reference for Cybertronian time units. It is very useful, well thought-out, and, unlike my essays, actually is brief. I highly recommend it. :-)
