Additional Transtectors Robots in Disguise: Conquest by Firestorm
Armor Type: Mercury - E
Model Identifier: TS-02-07-0001
Armor Function: Recon in Force
Alt Mode: VH-22 Osprey (G1 Highbrow recolor)
Pilot: Hibiki Kurosawa
Stats: Strength 7; Speed 10; Endurance 8; Firepower 8
The Mercury was designed to fulfill the reconnassaince role among the Transtector units, freeing
up the Appollo II units for combat. By virtue of being a recon platform, the Mercury is equipped with a
series of sensors capable of detecting Predacon / Decepticon energy and weapons signatures from a
distance of well over 20 kilometers. The E model sacrifices engine capacity, physical ability, and armor
for additional electronics, which allows detection at almost 50 kilometers. The Mercury is armed with
twin rapid-fire 30mm autocannons which can make use of a variety of rounds (including a re-designed
version of the cancelled Shileghlah); each autocannon has a standard-duty laser mounted on top of it for
additional firepower once the cannon shells run dry.
The pilot for unit 0001 is Hibiki Kurosawa, a member of the Japanese Secret Service. Since his
youth, Kurosawa has proven himself to be a fast thinker and a skilled vehicle operator. Although he was
to have initially been a part of the pilot program, his duties and the need to keep his cover up prevented
him from officially taking the training. The rumor is that the Mercury was designed by and for him.
Armor Type: Nosferatu - E (name unofficial)
Model Identifier: TS-XX-XX-XXXX (model does not officially exist)
Armor Function: (no official function)
Alt Mode: vampire bat (G1 Mindwipe recolor)
Pilot: Pritchard Yao
Stats: Strength 10; Speed 10; Endurance 10; Firepower 0*
Officially, the Nosferatu does nor has ever existed. Aside from its pilot and a handful of workers
at Launchbase Dingo, General McIntyre is the only person to know of its existance. The suit is a
one-of-a-kind model, designed around the specifications of its equally mysterious pilot in keeping with his
preferred style of operation. The Nosferatu has no weapons per se, but instead has an advanced electronics
suite superior to anything seen on any other transtector. A part of this suite is a powerful jammer
mechanism which can produce sonic waves capable of actually damaging electronics and even causing
injuries to organic creatures who remain in the area of effect for too long. Those nanites who have
encountered the mechanism have been completely unable to merge, and many have been outright
destroyed. In robot mode, he can make use of a sonic cannon that is capable of focusing the jammer on a
single target rather than an entire area.
Yao himself is a mystery. He was born in China, the son of a Chinese citizen and an Australian
religious missionary. Both parents were executed by the Chinese government for offenses against the state,
and Yao - still a child - was taken in and raised to be an intelligence operative. Instead, Yao ultimately
turned on the state; in the process he killed literally everyone involved in the organization that trained
him.
