1. Technojet Air Raid by Firestorm
Overview-
Technojet Air Raid was one of six Technojets released as a part of the Generation 2 line. Technojet Air Raid's mold was shared that same year with Skyjack. Like all three of the molds, Technojet Air Raid has a missile launcher on his right arm - if the missile is pressed down all the way (the side tabs have to be inside the black "claw" part of the launcher), then simply holding the launcher firm with two fingers and pressing against the back of the missile with your thumb will cause it to launch. Each figure came with two missiles. With Technojet Air Raid, his launcher is also the tail section for his alt mode. This gives him the ability to have three missiles at once (launcher, wings), so I usually give him the spare from Technojet Jetfire. The trade-off is that Technojet Air Raid has no actual right hand. Also, due to the way the arm is designed, the tail section / launcher is to the left of the airframe's center.
Figure-
Unlike the other two Autobot Technojets, Technojet Air Raid does not have the Decepticon stickers. In fact, aside from four stickers he's nothing but bare plastic with a hint of blue paint on his wings. Also unlike the other two Technojet molds, Technojet Air Raid?s mold has his two torso sections coming together so that one section fits into two grooves in the other (the rest use tabs). I personally keep having the darndest time trying to make the two sections stay together, which sometimes causes problems.
Overall-
Technojet Air Raid is easily the weakest of the three molds due to the problem with his torso. However even with this problem he's still fairly solid overall. Like the others, the mold was re-used as G2 Skyjack, and has been re-used with Robotmasters and Universe. Rating - 7.5/10
