Final Confrontation between Primus and Unicron by Octaina-Rose

Before Cybertron's creation:  Final Confrontation between Lord Primus and the Chaos-Bringer Unicron

(Unicron smacks Primus across the face with his spiked ball and sends the Lord of the Light Gods flying across the empty void.  Unicron laughs evilly and begins to follow his downed foe.)

"GIVE UP, PRIMUS.  YOU CANNOT WIN AGAINST DARKNESS!!"

(Primus shakes his head to clear it and looks up at his oncoming foe.  He sees that Unicron is going to rip open his chest with his clawed hand.  The Lord of the Light Gods frantically searches for his weapon but cannot find it.  Unicron is upon him.  The Chaos-Bringer raises his spiked ball above his head ready to swing it and take Primus's head off with it.)

"SAY YOUR PRAYERS, LORD OF THE LIGHT GODS!"
(Primus collects a handful of stardust and throws it into Unicron's face.  The bearded monster cries out and swings clumsy but Primus is able to dodge the clumsy swing.  The Lord of the Light Gods dashes away and finds his weapon, picking it up and facing his foe once again.)

"NOT TODAY, UNICRON!  HAVE AT ME!"

(Unicron rages in angry, swipes the stardust from his eyes and runs at his foe.)

"YOU DIE TODAY, PRIMUS!  THIS I SWEAR!"

"YOU WILL NOT KILL ME TODAY, UNICRON!  NOT EVEN IN A THOUSAND YEARS!"

(Their weapons met and clash together.  Both gods press their strength into the locked weapons, hoping to break the others or toss their weapon away.  As it was Primus's sword shattered and he collapsed from the force of the breakage.  Unicron smiles evilly and flouts down to his foe.  In his hand he summons a poisoned dagger and draws it back.  Primus is dizzy from the blow and looks up at Unicron with a disoriented stare.)
"I BELIEVE YOUR PREDICTION IS WRONG, PRIMUS.  YOU *WILL* DIE TODAY!"
(The dagger came forward.)

"NOOOOO!  PRIMUS!"
"WHAT?!?"
(Unicron hesitates in striking the final blow to see, to his surprise, Soulinia the Goddess of Life dash forward out of a wormhole she had created to get there.  She flew toward Primus and threw herself over his wounded form.  Her long, green hair shielded both their glowing forms.  She looked up at Unicron with pleading flaming, blue eyes.  Eyes full of life.  He hated those eyes.)

"PLEASE UNICRON, DO NOT SLAY PRIMUS!  I BEG YOU!"

(If there was one god in the universe he hated as much as Primus, it was Soulinia the Goddess of Life.  Not even Primus's mate, the Lady of the Light Gods Aurora Goddess of Order and Law, measured up to his hatred of the two.  In his own mind he wondered why Primus had chosen Aurora over Soulinia when the two had been lovers before.  They were perfect; the Lord of the Light Gods and the Goddess of Life, the two went hand in hand.  But Aurora?  She was just a bitch, the type that knew she was in charge and demanded equal recognization out of everyone else.  He wouldn't be surprised if Aurora had drugged Primus with a Lovestar just to get him to choose her to be his Lady.  It would certainty explain why he had chosen her instead of Soulinia, his ex-love though she still loved him.  She had come all this way, (supposively death) just to save him, her love!

(He hated her.  He hated her undying love to Primus.  And he hated her eyes, always so full of life, love, forgiveness, blah!  He hated her entirely as much as he did Primus!

(Glowering with malicious Unicron ruthlessly dug his poisoned blade into her back where her hair (also a shield) did not cover it.  The dagger went deep and her scream filled the "air' around them.  It was from her scream that seemed to bring Primus out of his daze.

(He clutched at her, wrapping his arms around her and pushed back, away from Unicron and his hurtful touch, away from his foe.  Unicron did not move but watched with an evil grin as the Light God pulled away with the wounded Goddess of Life in his protective grasp.  Unicron knew she would die from the poison.

(Primus held her against him tightly afraid that if he let go he'd loose her or that Unicron would devourer her.  She clung to him to, weeping hot tears of pain as she felt the poison creep through her body.  She knew she would probably die again but wasn't sure if she would be able to return like she had before.)
"SOULINIA!  SOULINIA MY LOVE!  SPEAK TO ME!  SPEAK TO ME!"

"AU- P-PRIMUS?  MY LOVE IS THAT YOU?"
"HUSH!  SAVE YOUR STRENGTH TO FIGHT AGAINST THE POISON."

"TO LATE, I SHALL DIE AGAIN."

(Primus didn't know what to say, he couldn't say anything, he was too overcome with emotion.  Instead he tightened his grasp around her and held her close.  Gently he kissed her forehead then her wondrous, green lips.  He had lost her once when Aurora, his power-hungry mate, had kidnapped her and hid her away for millions of years while giving him a Lovestar potion that had made him fall in love with her.  It also made him forget all about his wonderful Soulinia.  He had only just remembered when she suddenly reappeared and explained all about Aurora's vial plan.  Furious, he had chased Aurora down only to find that she had run to her brother, Unicron God of Chaos and Destruction.  Her BROTHER!  He felt sick inside.  He had been with Aurora for untold millions and billions of years.  In all that time he had not realized that she was his sister!  Gawd, he felt so sick.  Inadvertently, the dangerous love battle had led to the one he now fought with Unicron.  The one that would be the last!)
"YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE COME." (He whispered to her.)  "YOU WERE ALREADY WEAK WHEN YOU APPEARED."

"I CAME TO SAVE YOU." (Soulinia replied) "JUST AS LOVE BROUGHT ME BACK FROM DEATH."  (There was a pause, and then she said softly in a voice that was quickly fading, "AND NOW, PERHAPS, I SHALL ARISE AGAIN IN THE NAME OF LOVE."

(Primus did not watch as the light faded from her eyes and when they gently closed.  He did not need too, he felt her death echo through his soul as if it were being torn apart itself.  She had died.  Respectfully he tore the dagger from her back and tossed it aside.

(Wracked with grief and fury, he laid her down in that empty space and turned to face his foe.)
"THIS WAY UNICRON, WE SHALL END THIS BATTLE ELSEWHERE!"
(Unicron smiled and followed his fleeing adversary through a portal of which he had created unaware that it would strip them both of their godly forms and trap them in flouting asteroids.)
