Stories

Grimlock by Artemis_Prime

Rated: G •
Summary: I don't know about you, but I love Big Grim. Especially with the Geoff Senior headband.

Hawk - Eagle Eye by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: The robot mode has problems, but is an okay statue and doesn't show G2's tendency to resemble a distress flare. The plane mode is fairly nice, and the transform is good.

Highbeam by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: The best of the G2 Gobots, partly due a good mould but also to a good colour scheme. Assuming you can get into Gobots I'd really recommend this mould.

Hooligan by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Two good modes, a complex but not difficult transformation, good colours and tremendous play value for a small toy make Hooligan a great toy. G2 produced some really poor toys, but it also produced gems like this guy.

Horizons by SkyShadow

Rated: G • starstarstarstarhalf-star
Summary: It is the last day of the Transformers’ war on Earth. Thundercracker and Drench are two diametrically different robots trying to deal with what they did during the war, and determining whether there is life after the Decepticon army. The sky meets

Hotrider (Turbofire) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Overall this is the strongest Axelorator - both modes have their appeal and the lightpipe in Hotrider is very cool (less so for Turbofire).

Hubcap (G2) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Hubcap is a good toy, but the original is better. The chrome red just doesn't look quite right, especially in combination with the orange face. While it's not terrible, the original Hubcap looks a lot nicer, and is less likely to have chrome chipping issu

Inferno (G2) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A good toy by itself, essentially redundant if you have the original, a good substitute if you don't.

Ironhide (Gobot) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A nice vehicle mode which is dragged down somewhat by an average robot mode with some bad colour choices. If you like Gobots, it's certainly a reasonable toy. If you want only one toy in this mould, I'd recommend either the RiD Spychanger or Motormouth.

Ironhide (Powermaster) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Ironhide seems to be the most desirable a bad bunch - mainly because of the G1 homage, but unless you get really excited by Hummers or find him for a dollar or two, you can safely skip this thing.

Jazz (G2) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Whilst not as nice as the original, this is still essentially the same toy. The stickers are a change for the worse but they're not horrible. Essentially, his only real downside is the missile launcher. He retains the delicacy of the original - the windsh

Jhiaxus by Raksha

Rated: G • starstarstarstar Feature
Summary: The in-depth tech specs of this powerful Decepticon warlord.

Jolt by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A great looking robot mode, a cool vehicle mode with some paint problems and some flawed robot mode engineering.

Lightshow by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A tech spec for Lightshow, AKA G2 Sparkstalker

Mach Ice by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A tech spec for Mach Ice, AKA G2 Silverbolt.

Master and Slave by Artemis_Prime

Rated: G • starstarstarhalf-star
Summary: The Liege and the Quintessons have been defeated, but for one False Prophet, it is an empty victory. Second entry into Wayward Martian's Mary Sue Writing Contest.

Megatron (Combat Hero) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A good toy, for the time a downright revolutionary Transformer. The colours could have been better - not that the purple and blue are _bad_, but the orange is and the missiles don't match the toy at all.

Meteor by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A tech spec for Meteor, AKA G2 Slingshot.

Mirage (Gobot) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A poor mould, the robot mode really fails to impress, the car mode's okay but can't make up for the robot mode. Still, this is the best toy of this mould since the colour scheme works in both modes.

Mixmaster (G2) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Very similar to the original, I'm not sure G2 Mixmaster is worth hunting down if you have the original. But by itself this toy is good - in either yellow or orange.

More Than Meets the Eye by Danimus Prime

Rated: G •
Summary: A memoir about tragedy and redemption in my life, centered around the theme of Transformers and transformation.  "The shooting was like a Decepticon sneak attack, it fractured my world."

Motormouth by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: The vehicle mode is quite good, the robot mode less so - my favourite of all the toys of this mould.

Nosedive by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A tech spec for Nosedive, AKA Cyberjet Strafe

Onslaught (G2) by Dirge

Rated: G • starstarstarstarstar
Summary: A good mould, but this is pretty much cancelled out buy such a poor of colour scheme. In fact this is probably the ugliest of the G2 Combaticons.

Past Zero Time: Clouded Revelations by Artemis_Prime

Rated: G • starstarstarstarstar
Summary: The Siege of Autobot City! Thundercracker takes a stand! Perceptor learns the true nature of the Unicron Virus! The action-packed climax!
