Stories

Air Raid (G2) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: One of the better Aerialbots, and he survived the G2 recolour process, unlike a lot of G2 recolours. Which warms me even more to this recolour. No real kibble in plane mode and well dealt with robot mode kibble. About as poseable as small toys got in his

Alas Poor Hotspot by Best_First

Rated: G • starstarstarstarhalf-star
Summary: A not entirely serious look at Hotspot's not entirely sensical demise in the G2 comic. Won't make much sense if you are not familiar with G2 or the preceeding GI Joe crossover.

All Guns Blazin'! by Artemis_Prime

Rated: G • starstarstarstarhalf-star
Summary: Original fan character (and title character) of mine, doing one of the two things she likes doing best. (The other's drinkin'.)

Ambush by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A tech spec for Ambush, AKA G2 Brawl.

Beachcomber (G2) by Dirge

Rated: G • starstarstarstarhalf-star
Summary: Beachcomber has the sort of stupid colour scheme that G2 has been remembered for. It's still a good mould, but I'd recommend the original over this version.

Berzerchus by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A tech spec for Berzerchus, AKA G2 Bruticus.

Blast Off (G2) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A pretty good square-peg style combiner limb, and easily the best G2 Combaticon colour scheme, even if he _is_ a camouflaged combat space shuttle. . I'd still say the original is better, but this toy's not that far behind it.

Blaze by Dirge

Rated: G • starhalf-star
Summary: An extension of the function and quote given to Blaze by Hasbro.

Blaze by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: My least favourite Sparkabot mould, now in random neon colours. Blaze does have the best colours of the G2 Sparkabots, and since he sports a new name, if you only get one G2 Sparkabot, get Blaze.

Blueburner by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A tech spec for Blueburner, a character based on G2 Blast Off.

Bolt by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A tech spec for Bolt, AKA G2 Skydive.

Bootleg Hero Megs cake topper by Firestorm

Rated: G •
Summary: Review of the party accessory.

Brawl (G2) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A decent Scramble City component, Brawl's very beefy looking, which fits in with his character. The biggest failing of this version is the garish colour scheme, but it's better than most G2 Combaticons.

Bruticus (G2) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A bad colour scheme ruins what is otherwise a good set. Ignoring the colours, this is a good set, but I recommend the original in place of it.

Bulletbike by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A fairly good bike mode, the integrated sidecar is an interesting idea. The pullback motor works well in both modes, but the robot mode is one of the worst ever.

Bumblebee (G2) by Dirge

Rated: G • starstarstarstarstar
Summary: Bumblebee is a good toy, but this toy is very similar to and less show accurate than the original. It's a pretty good recolour as G2 goes, but if you only get one Bumblebee, get the original.

Christmas Especial by SkyShadow

Rated: G • starstarstarstar
Summary: At Christmastime, a young photographer makes a pilgrimage into the desert to get a shot of a robot. When that robot turns out to be Megatron, things do not go as planned. A story about not getting exactly what you expect for Christmas.

Cobra by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A tech spec for Cobra, AKA G2 Swindle

Cyberjet Air Raid by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: The weakest of the cyberjet moulds - although it's still a pretty good one. The jet mode is great, the choice of a stealth fighter is appealing and the colours work well. While the transformation isn't as elegant as the other two moulds, and the robot mod

Cyberjet Jetfire by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Two good modes, a complex but not difficult transformation, good colours and tremendous play value for a small toy make Jetfire a great toy. His only real flaw is the really annoying inclusion of the Decepticon logos on his jet mode.

Cyberjet Strafe by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: While the colour scheme is about as different from the Technobot colours as you could get, it's a good colour scheme on a good mould that's worthy of the name. I'm actually glad they matched this toy with a more obscure character - it's a nice change.

Dark Horizon by Blacksword

Rated: G • starstarstarstarhalf-star
Summary: Three years after the destruction of Jhiaxus and his Second Generation forces by the Swarm in 1994, the fragile Autobot-Decepticon Alliance makes ready to face the Empire while on Earth old evils make ready to rise again..... (prologue and chapters one to
