Oh, Primus...*wipes away tear* That was THE best, THE most hysterical Transformers comedy I've ever read. I'll never look at a Furby the same way again...*collapses into helpless laughter* Great ideas supported by good writing. I love it.

Summary: Prowl, favored son of the city of Vos, strategist and thinker, spins out the thin wires of his life in patriotic furore for his beloved home-- a paradise city where Decepticons and Autobots alike spend their days in peace, prosperity, egalitarianism... and complete ignorance of the lies and hypocrisy that prop up the city and its tyrannical leaders. Caught up in the events that give rise to the great conflict that will tear all of Cybertron apart, Prowl's conscience demands he perform the unconscionable for the sake of a friend who is an enemy, for a lie that becomes the truth, and for the very salvation of a new Autobot empire facing the doom of global civil war.

*glowers jealously* Wish I could write like this. I was up way past midnight reading this thing. If I had one problem it was with your tendency to use ** to emphasise words. Things like that need to be used in moderation, otherwise they stick out like a sore thumb. Otherwise...wow. Characters were perfect, storyline excellent...big thumbs up.

Did I mention that every time I see Roy has posted a new fic, I do a little dance of glee in my chair? He tells a great story that is accessible to everyone, does characterisation the way it *should* have been done the first time around (the G1 fans will lynch me for that) and ties up each chapter well while still leaving you hanging. If they ever *do* produce a re-vamped G1 series, I hope they hire this guy, because he has sure got the formula right.
