A month and a half later, in Wildfire and Hornet's room.
(From Optimus's point of view)
"Goo goo goo gaa gaa."
I still can't believe my daughter, the crazist woman I've ever met, has had such lovely Sparklings.
They looked up at me and giggled at me, what were they laughing about I wonder?
I picked Wildfire up and brought her to my face, she was about 8ft, maybe a bit bigger, Phoenix was bigger when she was born (only because my wife and I were quite tall).
She grabbed my helmet, climbed it and perched herself on top of me, her three little tails tickled my nose causing me to sneeze and nearly making my grandaughter fall off, she had to hold my antennas to stop herself from falling.
Hornet tugged my leg armor, I grabbed him, brought him to up to my shoulder and he grabbed a piece of neck armor to hang on to.
I got up and they hung on to me as I walked out of the room.
I know what you're thinking, where the parents and what am I doing with the kids.
1: I'm babysitting them for the day, 2: Phoenixfire and Bee are having a pirvate moment to themselves, if you get what I mean about 'pirvate'.
So they had told everyone to leave them alone for the whole day.
As I closed the door I reminded both of them, "Remember what your mother said, I'm in charge for the whole day, you two need to do what I say, got it?"
Wildfire nodded and giggled, oddly I could hear her thoughts in my head in a girly voice, "Yeah, but we all know who's really in charge right?"
I laughed to myself at the thought, she was right, it's going to be like bring-up Phoenix all over again.
"So," I asked her, "where do you want to go?"
I stopped walking as she thought about it, then she tried to say, "Ra.... Ra...."
Ra? What did she mean...... Oh, Ratchet!
"You want to see the doc-bot?" I asked both of them.
They both looked at each other and nodded.
So I took a left at the next hallway and headed down to the medic ward.
On the way Autobots stopped and stared at the children climbing all over me, some smiled, some frowned, others just stared with a blank face, but many just laughed and made fun of me.
They were shouting things like, "Hey Optimus can I have an energon bottle please!" and "Goo goo ga ga!!" and also, "Grandpa Optimus, could you please carry me!"
At this last comment I spun around (nearly making the twins fall off) and yelled, "Look I don't care what you all say!! My daughter asked me to look after my grandkids for the day and I'll do it with pride!!"
That made everyone quiet and with that I continued on my way to Ratchet's office.
5 minutes later.
*KNOCK KNOCK*
"Come in." A voice said.
The doors slid open and we walked in.
Ratchet was at his desk writing something, maybe a patient report, he looked up, smiled and said, "Wildfire, Hornet, Optimus... Where's Phoenix and Bee?"
"They're having a private moment to themselves." I answered as I put the twins on medic table nearby.
"You mean they're..?" He started, but I cut across him by nodding, he shook his head and said, "If they're not careful, Wildfire and Hornet will end up with another litte brother or sister!"
"Hey, by the way, I've been hearing from the other Autobots, that you and Whitefire have recently been trying to have a Sparkling and by recently I mean within the time my daughter had her's and her getting married! You two aren't even married!"
"YET!" He said back, "And so what if we are, we're both want one."
I looked back to where I put the children and they were gone.
OH NO!! Not again! I really should keep a better optic on Sparklings.
We started looking for them everywhere, under desks, tables, etc.
Ratchet sniggered and said, "Just like old times.
We searched everywhere, but they were nowhere to be seen, then I came across a vent, which had recently opened by what looked like tiny claws.
Ratchet saw this too, started laughing and tried to say, "Haha, they've done the same thing your kids did 1,200 years ago, like mother like daughter!!"
Then I asked, "Where does that vent lead to?"
"Wheeljack's lab, why?"
Then we both realised and we both yelled, "WHEELJACK'S LAB!!!!" and Ratchet said, "PRIMUS KNOWS WHAT HE'S GOT IN THERE!!"
With that we ran out of the doors and into hallway.
10 minutes later.
The doors slid open as we ran in and the scene that met us was nothing short of chaos.
There were flasks on the floor, broken, unbroken and they're contents spilled.
Microscopes and other lab equipment either broke or thrown of the tables.
Glass, glue, goo, liqud and tools were chewed and dragged everywhere.
Wheeljack's going to kill me for this.
In the middle of the room was a table with nothing on it except for......
"Hornet!!" I yelled.
The Sparkling in question was trying to open a flask which had a green fluid by chewing the cork, he looked at me and waved.
I went over and picked him up, while Ratchet went looking for the second, then we both heard from another room, "Shush little Sparkling don't say a word,
White's going to buy you a little doll,
And if that doll does not speak,
White's going to buy you a new blacket
And if that blacket is not warm,
White's going to buy you a diamond ring,
And if that diamond ring does not shine.......
Good girl, now where's your little brother?"
Then another door opened on the other side of the room and out came Whitefire with Wildfire cradled fast-a-sleep in her arms, she looked up and said, "Oh Hornet, where were you?" she ran towards me and took the Sparkling off me.
"Where were you more to the point?" Ratchet asked her.
"Sorry, I was feeding Wildfire, she was crying when I found her, but I couldn't find her brother, so I took her to my room to feed and put her to sleep."
I moved closer towards Ratchet while her back was turned and whispered, "Ratch, what have you done to her, I've never seen her act like this before."
"Sorry Prime, I slightly changed her programming so she would be a bit more..... motherly?" He whispered back.
Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt if White became more like a mother and got some hands on experience.
In fact....
"Hey Whitefire, I think I can do you a favor," She turned around to face me, "next time I see Phoenix I'll ask her if you could babysit these two to next time."
She walked towards me, handed back my grandkids and kissed me on my face.
I blushed slightly as she ran off around the room to tidy, then I said good-bye to both and we left.
I then looked at the clock, it read; 3.30p.m.
I started to make my way to office to finsh some reports with my grandchildren hanging off me...
