2 weeks later.

(From Optimus's point of view)

Phoenixfire was excited about having Sparklings, Bee was too.
Over the course of the last 2 weeks, she has been turning Bumblebee's old room into a nursery.
I helped of course, I had to.
Personally I couldn't wait either, I wanted to take care of her children.
You know, to make up for the past (see 2; Family and Friends, Love and War or 00; A Gift From Above for more details).
By now all the others had heard about it.
The 2 weeks came quite quickly, Bee and I took her down to the medics office.
When we had arrived Ratchet was doing paper-work.
He turned around and smiled, saying, "Ah, Phoenixfire. How's my godchild or children in your chest?"
"Fine, fine Ratchet."
"Come and lie down then, lets see how they are." He said, going ga-ga over her.
She lied down and relaxed, Ratchet got a cybertronian ultrasound and put it on her.
All the time he was asking about things, things like, "Have you eaten enough metal?", "Have you been building the nursery?" stuff like that.
She said yes or no as answers.
Bee, during the scan, held her hand.
Then, after 10 minutes, Ratchet said, "Oh this is perfect. Phoenix, Bee you're going to have twins."
I looked at my daughter, she looked like she was going to cry, so did Bee, she then said, "Well, are they two boys or two girls?"
Ratchet went back to looking at the ultrascan, 5 minutes later he said, "Ummmm... A boy... AND a girl. Both!! Here look for yourselves!!"
He turned the screen towards us, we saw 2 Sparklings moving, optics closed.
It was clear who was male and who was female.
"Do you think they can hear us?" Bumblebee asked.
"Yes, I remember just before you were born Phoenix," I said, "Ariel and I were talking about baby names and I suggested your name, you kicked and punched like there was no tomarrow. You loved the name and so did Draco......"
"Really?"
I nodded my head, Ratchet nodded his head too and said, "In Transformers, tests have been done and it shows that, yes, they can hear you and others around you. They can also hear your spark-beat since they're right next to it, aswell as your Sparkmate's, if they're close enough. So they know from birth who are the parents"
The to-be parents smiled at each other, my daughter asked, "Can we have a picture of that scan, please Ratchet?"
He nodded and typed something into the computer, then it printed and he gave it to her.
She put it in her strap bag and got up, the doc-bot then said, "Look, if you want anything built for the kids, or anything else, tell us and Whitefire, Perceptor and I will do it."
"Well, I was hoping you were going to ask that."
She then presented a HUGE list of things to build, like cots, playpens, a rocking chair, etc.
"Me and my big mouth...." He muttered.
This made me think, what should I get them?
Phoenix got up, turned to the medic, bowed and walked off with Bumblebee, all the time talking about baby names.
When they came out of the room, nearly every Autobot was there, boy, news speads fast around here.
They were asking things like, "Well, is it a boy or girl?" and "What did the doc-bot say?"
She then told everybody that it was twins and it was a boy and a girl.
Ironhide came up to her and said, "Nice one Bee, didn't think you had it in you."
Bee thanked him and Hide's attenion turned to Phoenix, he said, "Well, how's my godchildren?"
Her responce said, "Don't know about yours but mine's alright..."
Ironhide pulled a sour look at her responce, cheeky girl he must have thought.
She walked off with her husband, back to their room.
