Anyway, the windows are painted black, the spoiler and front bumper are painted a mid blue. There's a big blue "GO" and a smaller "BOT" painted on his roof, same on the doors and a large "T" with the word "TRANSFORMERS" inside the "T" on his bonnet - all of these are in blue. Whatever chance Soundwave had of hiding from the Autobots in that shade of yellow is pretty much ruined by the exposition of the writing on this car mode. The tyres are black with silver painted hubcaps.
The rollcage is a nice detail in this mould, but it's painted over by the black paint of the windows. The rest of the detail in this mould is hidden by the all-encompassing yellowness.
One of the weaker moulds of this series, with a really bad colour scheme and silly paint mask make this a bad car mode. The Gobot axles allow him to roll quite well, and fit in Hot Wheels tracks, so he has play value - really the only good point of this mode. Even then Gearhead is the same mould with better colours.

Aside from bad colours this mould has bad proportions. His thighs are very short, his arms too long and his chest is huge (and it sticks out more conspicuously than most Gobots). The arms themselves aren't _that_ long, but the panels on their outsides formed from the car doors are. So he's all arms and chest which almost no thighs, making him look rather squat.
The shoulders rotate and that's it for poseability. I don't expect much more of a toy at this pricepoint, but I do expect more of the proportions. The paint job makes this thing more of a joke than anything else. The only thing about this mode that isn't bad is the mid blue, on which I'm neutral.
