When Hasbro decided to create the cartoon series for The Transformers it was decided that there should be opposites within The Cybertronian Society that would fight in the war - One good, the other side evil. The evil ones (The Decepticons) threaten to destroy the balance of peace to their favor and they will do whatever is necessary to get what they want. The good guys (The Autobots) are the ones who keep the peace and make sure it stays that way willing to risk their lives if need be. Simple concepts which over the years has become blurred due to our not knowing who is good or bad anymore. By far and large what I have seen over the years in and outside the world around me are heroes who squander their talents on themselves and give nothing back to the people who idolize them. They can reason all they want that it is their lives and they don't owe us anything. But there is a price to be paid for such transgressions and many times over we see it and turn a blind eye to it all because we believe they can do no wrong. It might seem fun to be " the villain " and push everyone around who doesn't agree with you. But it all comes back to the same thing: There are consequences for the things we do and if we ignore them it will all come back to haunt us someday.

Sometimes we forget that heroes have it hard because they have to uphold their reputations on behalf of the people who admire them. Pushing them to the limit won't change the fact that they are still only human underneath. I sometimes forget that too and it breaks my heart to see some of them suffer the same regrets we all do. Rarely do they share their feelings outside their inner circle for this reason alone.

For centuries the opposing factions in The Real World have fought for causes they deemed righteous and worthy in the name of the planet we live on. Sometimes the causes we fight for aren't even our causes at all but somebody else's. Are we all villains by nature? Are we all good? I was once told by a broadcaster in the radio industry that everybody starts out with good intentions but somehow those noble acts get corrupted by outside influences. People that come out unscathed by the ordeals are the lucky ones, for others the road is long and winding and it will take many tries before they regain any semblance of the integrity and self-respect they lost. The terms of "Good" and "Evil" are subjective to some, but as far as I am concerned there is a difference between what's right and what's wrong morally. I cannot say the same for anyone who is indifferent to either side of the coin.

I will say one thing in defense for Raksha even if there are some things I don't agree with her on. She has a very strong will and will do whatever it takes to show why the 'Cons are heroes to her. But even I know that when you fight a good fight and lose. You have to reluctantly put it aside for an even greater good.
