3-Inch Titanium Galvatron by Firestorm
With him being literally the only Transformers Titanium that I saw left on the pegs at my area Toys R Us (there were six or seven of him, instead of just one figure), I decided to go ahead and pick him up. I'd gotten three other Titaniums in the past (Bumblebee, Grimlock, and Smokescreen), and so I decided to take a chance on him. I was not disappointed.
Galvatron has, to put it simply, more articulation then either Smokescreen or Bumblebee. He has points of articulation at his waist (would be full 360 degree rotation were it not for some kibble interfering), his neck (albeit a bit stiff), shoulders, and wrists. And since his feet are flat (unlike Grimlock's), stability isn't an issue.
However, like Smokescreen and Grimlock, the designers chose a fairly odd pose for him. He's leaning back, with most of his weight on one leg. His cannon arm is extended forward, and the hand is fairly flat. The other arm is curled, with the hand in a fist. In other words, a little bit of arm posing and it looks like he's surfing. That's right: surfing Galvatron. One can even imagine his stand as a giant cosmic surfboard. I suppose it would go well with Heroes Rodimus' party pose.
All in all? He's quite simply the first perfect Titanium I've purchased. Rating: 10 / 10.
