Sometimes, when I get a new figure I like to transform them without using the instructions just to see what happens. With Airrazor, that's a bad idea. Of course, it's still not very easy even if you do have the instructions.

Airrazor's beast mode is that of an eagle. A very shiny eagle thanks to all of that chrome (yeech), but an eagle none the less. Problem is, I can't get her to stay together in this mode. Her robot arms and torso won't go into place properly, meaning that they sometimes drop out into their robot position. Not only that, but due to how the two pieces of her beast mode back were designed, her robot legs must be in the proper position or they cannot close; to make matters worse, the clips that keep the pieces together were also chromed and are now worn down to the bare metal. Her third mode appears to be some sort of sea plane, due to the pontoons that make up her landing gear.

Her robot mode is so severely plagued by kibble that she topples under her own weight. Her wings, engines, and tail assembly form into a backpack, which is so large that her skinny little legs cannot support it; you have to fold her wings back and lean her on top of them for support. Not only that, but her beast mode claws are permanently attatched to her robot mode wrists.

If you're a fan of the character, go ahead and get this one. If not, there's other femmes. Rating: 5 / 10.

Variants: A Fox Kids recolor was released, which was done in reddish-orange and light blue. The Japanese version of this figure was redone so that it had bright red instead of the yellow. This figure was also re-molded for Armada.
